Honeymoon, I Shrunk The Trips

As you may know by now, our dream honeymoon is not really an option at this time of year as Cancun and our second choice The Bahamas suffer from rainy and hurricane season respectively in September and we didn't fancy that. Instead we have booked a short "mini-moon" for straight after the wedding and plan to have our proper honeymoon early next year.

We're all booked in for our mini-moon now and have plenty of things planned in an action packed 5 days.

We are going to be staying in St Austell in Cornwall and taking in many of the local sights and activites.

We will be staying at a lovely bed and breakfast called "The Waterwheel Inn" which as the name suggests has a waterwheel on it.

We plan to do many things whilst we are down there including visiting the Eden Project, sampling some cider and cider jams and preserves at a cider farm and enjoying a murder mystery steam train ride.

Our week away will see us visit the Arthurian centre to be transported back to Ye Olde times and enjoy a day in the era of Camelot. We will be partaking in a number of mystery/puzzle themed walks around the Cornish countryside and hope to spend some time in good weather in the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We are really looking forward to our mini-moon and can't wait to get away although we plan to savour every moment of our wedding day.

If you would like to contribute towards our honeymoon that would be much appreciated or please feel free to buy us dinner on our mini-moon.
