Almost finished!

Well here we are, 21 weeks to go and we have almost finalised all wedding plans. It's certainly something we should be proud of as pretty much everyone we have come into contact with has been shocked to find out that we only really set aside 7-8 months to 'plan' for the wedding.

The dress and suit have been chosen and the photographers paid. The rings have also been bought and are in line to be made by the jewellers.

Marie-Anne has gone for a palladium band which is the third most durable metal behind tungsten carbide and platinum and halfway between gold and platinum in value. It should work well with her white gold engagement ring as white gold is coated in rhodium which is part of the platinum group along with palladium so colour wise it will be difficult to tell them apart and it won't tarnish as much or as quickly as white gold does.

Daniel has gone for a hard wearing titanium ring with a silver inlay. He didn't want anything too shiny and it seemed a waste of money to buy the much more expensive platinum or palladium only to have the metal matt finished. Having tried a few on in the jewellers he quite liked the look, feel and weight of the titanium rings with inlays.

Almost everything is sorted and now it is just a case of making a few final touches. Only nerves to worry about now!
